OMG - this thing still works.

Blogger still works.

#wow

In case you weren't paying attention - but somehow decided to revisit this blog - Our podcast - after a long hiatus finally resumed in September.

We Finished out "season 7" and then we started "season 8".

The quotes around season 7 and 8 are because we've been podcasting since 2005 and - well, the podcast has been left on it's own.

The first episode in season 8 is a Dr Who play we wrote and performed in 2017:

The next one is a Son of Schlock Audio theater we recorded sometime in 2016 or so.

Then we contacted one of the co-founders of Schlock Audio theatre and decided to put all the original Schlock Audio Theatre titles on line, because as far as we know, none of them are on line.

And that mostly brings us up to date (well except for finishing out Rod Renegade - which you can find on the podcast if you're really interested.

We'll leave you with our Judson Fountain offering that we dropped for World Audio Drama Day. Enjoy this and hopefully there will be more updates on this ancient page for the Texas Radio Theatre Company.

Enjoy listening and watch more radio!

Sorry about all the cobwebs.

Texas Radio Theatre *still* exists in cyberspace. We occasionally produce new productions, though we haven't performed live in a while.

A new production is planned for October 2017 in cooperation with a Dr Who event in Grapevine Texas.

Stay Tuned.

Scorched Earth Complete

Back in February we were approached by the I-35 Radio Rep to help them produce a 9 part audio drama series called Scorched Earth.

Written and directed by Bruce R. Coleman, the series takes place in a little Texas town called Makepeace in the early 70's and centers around a strange visitor who suddenly appears on a night when all the lights go out for miles around. We just completed the final episode today. Here are links to the entire 9 part series all in one place for your convenience.

 I. A Stranger Among Us

II. Parasite

III. Blood

IV. Confessions

V. Fugitives
(yes - fugitives is spelled wrong in the link ... d'oh)

VI. Dreams

VII. Caught

VIII.Reunion

IX. Homecoming

I hope you enjoy listening, as much as we enjoyed producing it for the I 35 Radio Rep

A small disclaimer - unlike the majority of our Texas Radio Theatre projects, the following audiodrama contains some language which is considered PG-13. If you're concerned about that sort of thing, you might preview a few before letting your youngest listen in.
